چکیده

Biomass gasification is one solution that can overcome Indonesia's energy crisis. Indonesia an agricultural country has a lot of sources biomass. This work was focused on clean syngas production with purifying process through water scrubber and zeolite catalyst as filter. The produced from bagasse solid waste sugar factory. weight feedstock studied 1000 g, 1500 2000 2500 3000 g. influence burning time composition were also production. experiment result showed the related to amount bagasse; higher bagasse, longer time. investigated, it found CO, CH4, H2 percentages 9.294%, 1.348%, 2.773%, respectively. affect cleanness syngas.

Thermodynamic Analysis of Supercritical Water Gasification of Microalgae Biomass for Hydrogen and Syngas Production

Supercritical water gasification (SCWG) is an alternative thermochemical technology for the conversion of wet biomass in a high heat value product gases, such as syngas and hydrogen. Algal biomass has been suggested as one promising option to produce biomass for use as fuels and chemical feedstocks with high area-specific yields. In this study, the thermodynamic analysis of SCWG of microalgae b...

Sulfur Tolerant Magnesium Nickel Silicate Catalyst for Reforming of Biomass Gasification Products to Syngas

Magnesium nickel silicate (MNS) has been investigated as a catalyst to convert tars and light hydrocarbons to syngas (CO and H2) by steam reforming and CO2 reforming in the presence of H2S for biomass gasification process at NexTech Materials. It was observed that complete CH4 conversion could be achieved on MNS catalyst granules at 800–900 °C and a space velocity of 24,000 mL/g/h in a simulate...

Steam Reforming and Gasification of Pyrolysis Oil Reactor and Process Development for Syngas Production from Biomass

Gasification of pyrolysis oil was studied in a fluidized bed over a wide temperature range (523-914 °C) with and without the use of nickel-based catalysts. Noncatalytically, a typical fuel gas was produced. Both a special designed fluid bed catalyst and a crushed commercial fixed bed catalyst showed an initial activity for syngas (H2 and CO) production at T >700 °C. However, these catalysts los...

Hydrogen rich gas production via nano-catalytic gasification of bagasse in supercritical water

Ru/Al2O3 nano-catalysts were prepared with impregnation and microemulsion techniques. The supercritical water gasification reaction was performed at 400oC and 5-60 min. Within the tested operation conditions, the reaction residence time of 15 min was the optimum to maximize the H2 yield. It was observed that using microemulsion technique increases the total gas yield significantly. Using microe...
